Two slow days by the sea
No itinerary, one small bag, and a notebook. I took the early train down to the coast on a Friday with nothing booked past the first night, which is either brave or lazy depending on who you ask.
The days sorted themselves out: long walks along the front, a bowl of something warm at a place with handwritten menus, an afternoon reading with the window open to the sound of the water. I did not take many photos. I did not need to.
Sometimes the best trips are the ones where nothing in particular happens, and you come home feeling like the week has been given back to you.
